With some basic forestry equipment, you can find all kinds of uses for the trees on your acreage that need to be cleared or cut. Of course, if you are in the business of selling firewood, this equipment is a must, but if you are just going to be using it for a specific task, then used forestry equipment might be the right answer.

It can be much cheaper than hiring the work done and can offer you a variety of ways to use the timber you cut. You can build a log home cheaply by having your own equipment, but if you just need to clear a few trees, it's a great way to save money, too.
